[ The video clicks on as a tall, lanky man in a knee length red peacoat and a black beanie stalks into view, his hands shoved into his pockets, his shoulders hunched, eyes toward the floor. He takes about two steps down the hallway in question before he stops and turns, looking back over his shoulder, then looking back forward, his brow furrowing in confusion. ]

What is this shit?

[ He looks off down the hall both directions, looking more and more confused. ]

Fuckin' weird dream, that's for sure. [ He takes one last look left, then right, and finally chooses right, turning and starting off in that direction, apparently intent on finding the end of the hall...if there is one. ]

[Akihiko's slept some but not much since arriving, or more like appearing, here in this twisted and teasing mansion. Minato had said the closet would give him what he wanted, and he's received a change of clothes and a pair of walking shoes fitted to his tastes.

Maybe the closet had picked up on the one wish he couldn't have. In the back of his mind, he wanted his best friend. More than anything. But Shinjiro belonged to the afterlife now. Nobody can bring back the dead.]

Huh? [As luck would have it, his communicator clicks on, and he hears a hauntingly familiar voice over it while tying his shoes. He walks to the desk and holds it up in his hands.

Black tuque. Red peacoat. Messy brown hair.]

Shinji? [He speaks into the device, athen rubs his eyes. Is he seeing things?]

[So, Akihiko's voice was coming out of his pocket? When the hell had he gotten a cell phone anyway? He pulls out the phone-thing and narrows his eyes.]

Aki? How the hell'd you get in my dream, huh?

[And once again, Minato had to wonder what it was that Wonderland was up to. It hadn't been more than a day since Akihiko had arrived and had actually stayed as opposed to whatever happened the past weekend. But Shinjiro's arrival did make him think that it would lift Akihiko's spirits. Minato's own had been since he had been given the chance to see yet another friend from home... Not that he would have dreamed of wishing Wonderland on anyone.

The angle of the video was slightly off, the voice a bit distant. The recording must have clicked on without its owner knowing.]

[Same way he had addressed Akihiko when he arrived. It seemed fitting.]
