[Shinjiro walks from his closet into the view of the camera carrying what looks like a webcam. He heaves a sigh and tosses the thing on his bed and picks up the device...

...and swears under his breath when he notices it's already on.]

Fine, smartass. You wanna turn on? Tch. Whatever.

[His eyes focus on the feed finally.]

Yuu, thanks. You know why.

[There's another, longer pause.]

So, a lotta people know this place makes you forget stuff, right? What do you guys do to try to remember?

Do you keep a journal?

[Minato had been busy himself with typing up everything he could after their meeting. He had planned on giving all of his senpai his notes on the events along with it.]

Just the laptop. And digital camera. [It should have a video function, though he hasn't tried it yet. But he knew for sure the closets gave those two items since his last two were stolen.]

I can teach you how to lock information to just us, Senpai.

Most of the time, you don't even know you've forgotten something.

I'm using pen and a notebook for now. Had to take a break though. I hope the papers in college aren't this long.

Memory loss is gradual process-- one that is difficult to track. I've yet to realize what memories the Mansion stole from me when it used my past experiences for an event.

I've decided to make both paper copies and audio copies, I imagine having more than one copy of things would be best. [Epically long pause. ]

How are you doing, Shinjiro?

Nope. Been thinkin' about it, though.

Where the hell'd you get a laptop?

That's why we want to write it all down.

So if you aren't aware you've forgotten something, how the hell do you expect to try and remember it again?

Besides, even if you do figure out what you forgot, it's not coming back to you.

You asked a question, and I was answering it. Just because you don't like the answer doesn't make it less fucking true.

The subtlety of the Mansion is the problem, though. It won't strike important memories or ones that you would deem important enough to write down. It goes after your assumptions, things that you won't realize you're missing.

The closet. It took a few tries before it worked.

I'm not the one who just found out quite a lot of...unpleasant things. [Unpleasant is a nice way to put it. Totally not answering though.]

[He smiles a little.] You think we should do different copies? I know sometimes the computers delete my files, so I thought paper might be better for mine.

I asked how ya do it, dumbass. Not if you thought it was worth it. [Because Shinji doesn't care what you think, Gokudera. I'm sorry.]

We're going to have to write down everything.

[Combined with Shinji's amazingly (bad) luck, this is never going to work.]

You can't do it. If you go back home, you'll remember, but as long as you're here, even if someone tells you what you forgot, you can't keep it in your mind. That enough of an answer for you, asshole?
